Megadeth Lamb Of God Extend Metal Tour 2022

Megadeth and Lamb of God will join hands as the veteran American heavy metal bands start off the second leg of their ‘Metal tour of the year’ in Las Vegas on April 9. They’ll be joined by other heavy metal bands Trivium and In Flames, and heavy metal music fans all around the United States will be treated to yet another spectacular concert. Due to the critical and commercial success of the first leg of the tour, another Housefull performance by these great bands will be exciting to behold. From January 14, tickets will be available for purchase.

The ‘Metal Tour of the Year’ will be the second time both iconic bands will take the stage together. Megadeth is one of America’s oldest heavy metal bands still active today. The band, which was founded in 1983 by vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson, rose to prominence in the early 1990s. The heavy metal band has 15 studio albums to their credit. It has won numerous prizes, including the 2017 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for ‘Dystopia.’ The band has sold 38 million albums worldwide, making them one of the few bands from the American underground metal scene of the 1980s to achieve such widespread commercial success.

‘Burn the priest’ was the name given to Lamb of God when it was created in Richmond, Virginia, in 1994. John Campbell, Randy Blythe, Mark Morton, Willie Adler, and Art Cruz were the original members. The BAnd has released ten studio albums, and their cumulative sales are about 2 million in the United States. In 2010 and 2011, Lamb of God received Grammy nominations for tracks from their album “wrath.” In 2014, a documentary film named ‘As the Palaces Burn’ was released internationally, honoring Lamb of God’s legacy. Lamb of God’s latest accolades came in 2016 when the metal band won the ‘best live band’ award at ‘Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award.’

The second leg of the ‘Metal Tour of the Year’ will undoubtedly be a power show by Megadeth and Lamb of God, but there will be more metal music blasted this time as ‘Trivium’ and Swedish heavy metal band ‘In Flames’ will also participate. Trivium, which was founded in 1999, has a long history of metal music. Throughout this time, the Orlando-based band has had great success, selling over 1 million CDs worldwide. On October 8, 2021, they released their tenth studio album, ‘In the Court of the Dragon.’
